15 Ways To Look Like A Charlie’s Angel
One of my boot campers cracked me up a few days ago. I popped in unannounced to help one of my trainers lead the workout just for fun.
A few of the girls were nicknaming me “Charlie” (instead of Mitch) from “Charlie’s Angels” cuz I’m the guy on this blog and I’m the one they know as the internet “face”.
It’s like Charlie – cuz you never see him in person yet he’s always talking to his girls from this little talking box. It made me laugh cuz I see the comparison.
So it it got me thinking..and I came up with 15 ways to look like a Charlie’s Angel.
Don’t forget to take the quiz at the end…
1. Eat breakfast within 30-60 minutes of waking up
2. Don’t make dinner the biggest meal of the day. Remember the saying…
“Eat breakfast like a King, lunch like a prince and dinner like a pauper” – To be honest – most of my main
meals are about the same but just don’t make dinner the biggest meal of the day – that’s a no-no.
3. Drink plenty of water
4. Bring snacks with you everywhere you go
5. Eat healthy 6 days a week
6. Move your body 3-6 days a week
7. Get at least 7 hours of sleep. 8 is best.
8. Take a 20 minute nap everyday in the mid-afternoon
9. Choose the days and times you’re gonna do your grocery shopping and stick to it.
10. Train with weights at least twice a week
11. Limit stress
12. Have 1 dark green salad (and I don’t mean iceberg) and at least 2 low glycemic fruits every day (including weekends)
13. Believe that you can do it.
It’s not “you’ll believe it when you see it”…that classic phrase is backwards. It’s “you’ll see it when you
believe it”.
If we can go there in the mind, we can go there in he body…in other words we can manifest what we think about and what we believe to be true. The only GAP is the TIME between the thought and the manifestation of that thought. If you can wait it out, believe it’s coming AND take the necessary actions during the “time lag”, then guess what? It WILL.
Be patient – Rome wasn’t built in a day
14. Set realistic goals…write them down on paper and work backwards to achieve it.
Say for example you wanna lose 10 pounds in 5 weeks. You now know you need to lose 2 pounds per week
15. Go to Fit Figure Boot Camp (shameless plug but I couldn’t help it LOL)
Test Time: How many things do you DO on the this list?
1-3 – Poor
4-6 – OK
7-9 – Good
10-12 – Very Good
13-15 – Excellent
